Yes, my 2010 Toyota Prius saves gas and reduces my personal carbon dioxide emissions. Yes, I look cool pulling into the Whole Foods parking lot. Yes, I chuckle leaving the gas station and not returning for a week and a half. Yes, I have learned the art of packing and can fit 3 kids, groceries, a dog, lacrosse equipment, and a dance bag inside. Yes I have read all of the Toyota Prius reviews.
But do my kids think it’s a cool ride? I don’t think so. My kids do harmonise that it looks like something out of Star Wars, which was as about as cool as they would get. They seem to be coming around though. subsequently a trip to the gas station they realized the money saved on gas would buy them ice cream. All of a sudden the star wars car is becoming cooler now. They started to point out the inside. The Touch Tracer Display mesmerized them by sticking out(p) info before their eyes, and the boys really appreciated the pre-air conditioning which cooled the car down before they got in. The Intelligent Parking Assist gave them so much new material about my driving skills, and the Voice Activated Navigation impressed them by finding the most obscure lacrosse stadium .
You might want to try one out for yourself next time you fly somewhere on vacation. I know they rent them and they save you a lot of money, not to mention that everyone will think you are cooler than you really are. I say that becasue, the car must be getting cooler, My High School aged daughter asked my to please drive the Prius when picking her up from the movies last night. She even asked me to give her some Toyota Prius photos, so I must be getting cooler by the minute!
