How to Ensure Business Survival

  • There will be days when you want to give up. Just smile and keep on going-it will get better.
  • A successful business is usually built on many small improvements over time.
  • When the salesman says, “It’s now or never.”  Always chose never.
  • A check in the mail is not money in the bank.  Do not be tempted to spend it until you get it.
  • What works today might not work tomorrow.
  • Every business is founded on sales. If you aren’t good at sales, then hire someone who is.
  • If you want to have short meetings, don’t provide chairs.
  • School is never out for the pro, when you are immature you are growing, and when you are ripe you are rotten.
  • We live in a world of permanent change.  Learn to embrace it.
  • A big shot is nothing more than a little shot that just kept on shooting.
  • All a individual achieves and all he fails to achieve is the direct result of his own thoughts.
  • Don’t quit your day job, until you know this new venture is working and has potential to gain revenue that flows to the bottom line.
  • Money is never the sole source of happiness.
  • There are 3 types of people: (1) Those who make it happen (2) Those who sit back and watch it happen (3) And those who wake up the next morning and say, “What in the world happened?”
  • If you could kick the person responsible for most of your troubles, you wouldn’t be able to sit down for a week
  • Never wrestle with a pig, you will both get dirty and pretty soon you will realize that the pig is enjoying it.
  • Never argue with an idiot, people watching may not be able to tell the difference.
  • The early bird catches the worm.
  • Is it a bunch of noise?  Or is it producing revenue and generating profit?
  • Your business will become nothing more than a distinct reflection of who you are.
  • What is common sense to you, may be absolute total genius to the rest of the people in the world.
