Marketers seeking to raise their site’s PR value should be aware that a backlink using relevant keywords in the anchor text has more SEO value than one using poor keywords or no keywords at all. The KeywordLuv plugin allows the anchor text of backlink to be decided by the contributor of the comment. This is how it works.
The screenshot shown below represents the comment form used on this site. If you use the format; YourName@YourKeywords, the backlink generated by your comment will use the value you placed in the @YourKeywords. For example, if you supply this value in the Name field, Bill Johnson@Best Homemade Cookies, the keyword phrase “Best Homemade Cookies” will be used as the anchor text of your backlink. The value you place in the Website field, of course, will be the href value of your backlink. Remember: Only value added comments will be accepted. “Hey, this is a great post!” is NOT an example of a value added comment, and will not be approved.
TwitterLink Comment
Using the screenshot previously mentioned, notice the blue section under the submit button. If you include your Twitter username in this section, another link, one to your Twitter account, so that interested parties can follow you on Twitter, will be added to your comment.

I have been reading about how many websites are turning to dofollow to increase comments and traffic. I may need to consider this for my blog.
Does giving out links on a blog hurt it in anyway?
As someone who practices SEO, I greatly appreciate your support for dofollow blogs, especially the use of Keywordluv. It can take a long time to build rank on search engines by trying to strike deals with other people. Giving good advice on blogs is one of the best ways to do it, especially when starting out. It is a shame that nofollow has to exist, but I can’t think of any other way to stop spammers. Thanks again for the KeywordLuv!
Encouraging interaction with your readers by both allowing them access to keyword-rich comment backlinks and promoting value-added comments from others is a very positive activity. I personally don’t believe that the minute page-juice leakage in an outgoing comment link, if in fact it has any detrimental bearing at all, outweighs the benefits to your blog. I think it is a good way to show your appreciation to your blog followers to give a way a “do-follow” link. Because they are actually making your blog more interesting and attracting discussions thru the comment field.

You are exactly right Sven. It is a good trade off, if it is not abused, which it sometimes is. Interaction is an attraction. We shouldn’t have to worry about spammers on our blogs, but to worry that your site will become a spam target is just being paranoid. A good anti-spam plug-in, such as Defensio, and comment moderation makes comment spam moot.
